Father's House Stream of Love Camp

Roman and Natasha Kornyiko, founders of Father's House ministry are now working to spread this model around Ukraine. After being stranded one cold winter night in 1997 where he saw the miserable plight of the hundreds, perhaps thousands of homeless children, Dr. Roman Kornyiko received a calling from God to minister to these children. That was when Father's House Ministry began. Today the ministry has grown and is literally touching hundreds of kids (and families) every week.

Since 1994 a group of Christians from the churches in west central Ukraine have used a former communist youth camp to house, teach and love kids from the region. At The Stream of Love Camp in Vinnitsya, Ukraine, kids pack the chapel two times a day to sing, see skits, participate in worship and hear the teaching of God's Word! Thousands of kids have spent two weeks of their summers at the camp. Some of those very kids grew into counselors and return year after year to serve God thorough the camp ministry. God uses CEO to support the camp staff monthly and was instrumental in 2002 in providing funds to purchase the camp, since then CEO has assisted in several renovations projects.

In the city of Kyiv (approaching 3 million in population), there are a plethora of street kids (12,000 est.). These children live on the streets due to alcoholism, death, poverty, or just plain abandonment by their family. The children sniff glue because it takes away hunger pains, provides warmth, and allows an escape from the bitter reality of their lives. The Father's House is a holistic ministry reaching these lost and forgotten children and offering a safe, hopeful home to meet Jesus and get a second chance on life. Christian Educators Outreach partners with Father's House by taking needed supplies and financial gifts to them, and by sending support teams to do ministry, outreach and leadership training.

Kids love going to the Stream of Love camp because they live in good conditions, and have good food to eat... this is really important because some of the kids who come to the camp are from shelters for street kids.
